Ever heard of the 1915 Women's March in NYC? Those independent Women inspired this painting.
On 10.23.1915, more than 25k women marched up Fifth Avenue in NYC advocating for the right to vote. The women's march was the largest ever held in NYC. The NY Times published an article warning that if women were "granted the suffrage, they would demand all the rights that implies. It is not possible to think of women as soldiers, police patrolmen, or firemen." ('tis true! I can't make this stuff up.) ♀️♀️♀️
Your girl, sister, daughter, or friend will celebrate her strength every single day when she looks at this original painting hanging in her room... and she will KNOW, for sure, that she can do ANYTHING.
