Emmeline Pankhurst, born on 15.July.1858, is a pivotal figure in HERstory. At just fourteen, she was introduced to the Women's Suffrage Movement, igniting her lifelong commitment to social change. In 1903, she established the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU), a powerful organization that became the driving force behind securing Women's right to vote. Pankhurst's relentless advocacy & bold leadership made a significant impact on the fight for gender equality, demonstrating her vital role in shaping the future for Women. On 15.May.1869, Elizabeth Cady Stanton & Susan B. Anthony boldly shaped HERstory by founding the National Woman Suffrage Association (NWSA). As trailblazers, they relentlessly fought for a constitutional amendment to secure Women's suffrage, demanded equal pay for Women, & championed a wide range of critical Women's rights issues. Their commitment to justice & equality set the stage for a powerful movement that forever changed the landscape of Women's rights. ♀️♀️♀️

So... this is clearly to honor one of the most distinguished and accomplished people of all time... someone whose life work enabled women to secure a mortgage without a man; someone who fought for a widower's right to receive social security benefits from his late wife... etc, etc.  And, this incredible person happens to have been a woman... and a bad-ass female.

When asked, "When will there be enough women on the Supreme Court?", RBG replied, "When there are nine."  Here's to you, RBG!
