Malala's Historic Speech
On September 1, 2008, 11-yr old Malala Yousafzai made HERstory by accompanying her father to a local press club in Peshawar to protest school closings. She gave her first speech, “How Dare the Taliban Take Away My Basic Right to Education?” Malala is a Pakistani Pashtun activist for female education & the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. If one Girl can change the world, imagine what two Girls can do!
