Anne Cobden-Sanderson didn’t just support Women’s rights, she escalated them. 💥

After attending the 1871 Women’s Suffrage Conference in London, she joined the organized fight, first with the constitutional suffragists of the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies. But patience wasn’t enough. When progress stalled, she stepped into militancy with the Women's Social and Political Union in 1905, choosing action over decorum. 🔥

Arrested in 1906 after protesting outside Parliament, she endured Holloway Prison rather than abandon the cause. In 1907, she helped found the Women's Freedom League, becoming one of its fiercest public voices, speaking in the streets, confronting power, refusing silence.

In 1909, she was arrested again while picketing 10 Downing Street to present a petition to Prime Minister H. H. Asquith. ⚡
