So... this is for the girl who is EXCELLENT, AWESOME, FANTASTICAL... anything BUT mediocre. This girl wakes up every morning and hits the ground running! There's ZERO room in this girl's life for just being "ok" or "average"... oh no... these words are not in this girl's vocabulary. If you want to be part of her space, you better bring your A-Girl-Game... 'cause that's what she brings to the world every single day.

On 01.24.1972, Gloria Steinem made HERstory by receiving a standing ovation for her inspiring speech at the National Press Club. For decades, from 1908 until 1955, Women reporters were unjustly banned from attending any NPC events. While the all-male club reluctantly allowed Women entry after 1955, they were still subjected to degrading conditions, required to bring their own lunches in brown bags & sit silently in the balcony, unable to voice their questions. Meanwhile, male reporters freely dined in the ballroom, empowered to ask any questions they wished. This moment marked a turning point in the fight for equality & the acknowledgment of Women's voices in journalism. ♀️♀️♀️

Inspiration: On 07.28.1866, Beatrix Potter was born. Before becoming a successful author in a time when women weren't even allowed to vote, Beatrix had a passion & talent for botany. She wanted to pursue her passion professionally, but faced continual rejection because she was a Woman. She started writing & illustrating children's stories, with her 1st book being "The Tale of Peter Rabbit". Twenty more successful books followed. Beatrix was a savvy entrepreneur, patenting the Peter Rabbit doll in 1903. But, she wasn't done yet. She used her self-made fortune to buy a small farm & became a champion sheep breeder. Beatrix made HERstory in 1943 by becoming the 1st Woman Pres of the Herdwick Sheep Breeder's Assoc. Take that! ♀️♀️♀️
