On December 21,1899, Christine Ross made HERstory by becoming the 1st Woman CPA in the US. Christine took the CPA exam in June 1898 amidst controversy around whether Women could become certified public accountants. Her certificate was delayed by more than a year simply because she was a Woman. 'Tis true!
