On 12.10.1905, Bertha von Suttner made HERstory by becoming the 1st Woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1889, Bertha authored Lay Down Your Arms, making her a leading figure in the peace movement. Bertha also broke gender barriers through her work as a writer and activist in a time when Women were mostly "seen and not heard." Let there be peace.
